The Tennis Club is located behind the Memorial Hall on Darras Road, Ponteland. There is free parking for members in the Memorial Hall car park.

Access to the Tennis Club is by electronic key fob, which is black with a green stripe. there are two readers, operated by the same key fob, on the main entry gate to the Tennis Club and on the clubhouse door.

Playing

The three artificial sand filled grass courts are available for play from 9.00 am to 10.00 pm, 365 days a year.

Tennis balls are provided in the clubhouse for seniors and in the cupboard attached to the 
shed for juniors.

Floodlights which are operated by a token at a cost of £1 per half-hour, are available from specific club members (details on the clubhouse notice board).

The key fobs also give access to the three acrylic surfaced tennis courts at the rear of Ponteland Middle School, Callerton Lane, Ponteland.

The Clubhouse

The tennis clubhouse was built in 2006; access is via an electronic key fob (provided on becoming a member). It has both a ladies and gents changing rooms with showers plus a disabled toilet. It also has central heating that will be switched on during winter months. A kitchen is provided for members use, tennis balls, all coffee, tea are included in the annual membership fee for members both senior and junior.

The key fobs also give access to the three acrylic surfaced tennis courts at the rear of Ponteland Middle School for use after school hours or when the school is on holiday.

General Play

Juniors have various sessions throughout the week until 6.30pm. After 6.30pm all three courts are available unless team matches are in progress. 
There are box leagues throughout the year for all ages. 
Individual coaching is also available via the Head Coach.

Coaching

Juniors have a number of coaching sessions throughout the week. 
Seniors have a Friday 7pm until 8pm or by special arrangement with the club head coach Nick Clark.
